Cape Town is widely known as the Mother City, and there is indeed something deeply mothering about the place. Enclosed by mountain and sea, the city is held lovingly. One feels a sense of gratitude and calm that is rare to come by. Cape Town is an incredibly resonant place to choose to retire where one can be nurtured by the natural environment. We are in turn grateful to have had the opportunity to transform Woodside Village, an existing senior living facility nestled comfortabley in Rondebosch. 

 

Inspired by fynbos colours and the sunlight glow on table mountain, we used pastels like lilacs and soft burnished gold. As always, some incredible wallpapers feature and we also used wall panelling here to create an aura of elegance. Gorgeous fabrics from Clarke & Clarke, Designers Guild and wallpapers from Nobilis and Cara Saven.
