It’s hard to conceptualise a more idyllic retirement home. In warm KwaZulu Natal, overlooking sugar cane fields and the ocean, coral Cove residents are offered a true taste of heaven. We had fun designing the show unit as the first glimpse into the near future. We used colourful slabs of marble, exotic fabrics and wallpapers to bring to life a fresh, coastal-colonial aesthetic. The result would be worthy of a five star holiday and has all the comforts and practicalities a home needs.
